Coexistence is token as Graincorp says it will comingle GM and non-GM canola at 15 of 100 silos in Victoria this year and more later. Public protest foiled their plans to mix GM and non-GM at all their silos this season.

The Australian Oilseeds Federation website promotes a report "Delivering market choice with GM canola" yet Co-operative Bulk Handlers (CBH) and WA Farmers (both signatories) admit they cannot segregate. CBH and Elders also say they will not market canola from any silo that handles GM as their local, European and Japanese buyers want GM-free!!
